Adding your Ernie AI chatbot to a Webflow website is straightforward and requires no coding experience. Follow the steps below to get your chatbot live on your site in minutes.
Before you start
Have your embed code ready.
Plan requirement: Custom Code available on paid Site Plans (Starter free plan allows only Embed element, not site-wide injection).
Add to homepage or globally.
Option A: Site-wide
Log in → Project Settings → Custom Code.
Paste embed under Footer Code.
Save → Publish.
Confirm chatbot across pages.
Option B: One page
In Designer open Pages → ⚙ Page Settings.
Paste code in Before </head> tag field.
Save → Publish → test page.
Troubleshooting
Not visible → ensure paid plan and published changes.
One page only → move to site-wide.
Clear cache if old version persists.
