Adding your Ernie AI chatbot to a Wix website is straightforward and requires no coding experience. Follow the steps below to get your chatbot live on your site in minutes.
Before you start
Have your embed code ready.
Plan requirement: Custom code injection needs a Wix Premium Plan (site connected to a domain).
Free Wix sites block JavaScript and show Wix ads, preventing full chatbot functionality.
Recommended: site-wide install.
Option A: Site-wide
Log in → open site in Wix Editor.
Go to Settings → Custom Code.
Click + Add Custom Code → paste your snippet.
Set All pages → Head – end.
Apply → Publish → test live site.
Option B: One page
Open Wix Editor → Add Elements (+) → Embed → HTML iframe.
Drag HTML box → click Enter Code.
Paste embed code → Apply → Publish.
Test homepage.
Troubleshooting
Not visible → upgrade to Premium, clear cache.
Only one page → switch to site-wide option.
